1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyJanji ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including business owners, staff members, and end customers who interact with the booking system.

2. Service Description

MyJanji is a cloud-based appointment management platform designed for Malaysian service businesses. The Service includes online booking pages, calendar management, client management, WhatsApp reminders, payment collection, staff management, inventory tracking, analytics, and related features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with unauthorised parties.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into this agreement.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Payment Terms

MyJanji offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your billing cycle begins on the date you subscribe to a paid plan.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Price Changes: We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days advance notice. Users who subscribed during promotional periods will retain their locked-in pricing as advertised.
  • Refund Policy: We offer a full refund within the first 14 days of a new paid subscription. After this period, refunds are provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. No refunds are issued for partial months of service.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via Stripe (credit/debit cards) and Toyyibpay (FPX/DuitNow). All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless stated otherwise.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or abusive content through the WhatsApp messaging features.
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the data you upload to MyJanji. We will not sell your data to third parties. You are responsible for obtaining necessary consent from your clients before storing their personal information on our platform.

7. Intellectual Property

The MyJanji platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of MyJanji. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. You retain full ownership of your business data, content, and branding that you upload to the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyJanji and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • By You: You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or fail to pay subscription fees after reasonable notice.
  • Data After Termination: Upon account deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
